Welcoming the Emily McCarthy Holiday 2023 collection, we’ve got all the necessities for this immersive and eventful time of year. This collection is full of luxe holiday wear including all the sequins, metallics, and tweeds your wardrobe is begging for. We hope you’ve got party plans, because we’ve got just the outfit for any and every occasion! We are oh so excited to show you guys what fabulous pieces Emily and her team have brought to life and bring a little extra dose of joy to your holiday season.
Emily’s vision for our holiday photoshoot location was something bold and colorful, yet modern and chic. After searching near and far, we came across the most beautiful home located at the Ford Field & River Club after flipping through Savannah Homes Magazine. After being granted permission from the homeowner, we were able to make our visions come to life. With beautiful architecture, wallpapers and wild animal scenery throughout the home, this was the perfect aesthetic for a joyful and lively holiday photoshoot. Let’s talk about a few of our best looks and shots from our favorite photoshoot to date!
Starting off strong, we have the Bradshaw Blazer paired with its matching Downtown Jogger in Green Sequin Cheetah. This was such a bold look and the camera could not have captured it better. For any holiday parties or occasions coming up, this is such a strong look that is sure to turn heads for obvious reasons. These two pieces could also be worn separately paired with black or gold for the same statement look. I styled this outfit with a gold collar necklace and matching earrings which accented the gold buttons so well. Since the set speaks for itself, there wasn’t much need for a lot of accessorizing which can be a plus for many of us!
If you’re not so much of a sequin lover, we have a much more subtle option as well in our Bristol Blazer and Downtown Jogger in Black Tuxedo. This is a relaxed puckered poly material with some velvet trims, and we’re absolutely obsessing over this look. Styled with the same gold accessories, this look is totally chic and looks amazing paired together as a set or apart with your choice of pairings. We were absolutely stunned by the master bedroom's detailing with the overlay of patterns and colors that just accented the clothing so well.
Another showstopping set of looks are all of the beautiful organza pieces. Available in the Bella Dress, Bella Top, and Chloe Skirt, these are all such unique styles, colors, and material that stand out and create such distinctive looks with such little effort. I am loving the organza material creating a perfect sheer layering over the Holly print underdress/top. I think these are the perfect holiday party pieces with the organza neck bow, pleats, and velvet trimmed puff sleeves. Paired with its matching headband and gold accessories, these looks are hard to top.
My favorites of the holiday collection are definitely the winter pop tweed pieces. I love being bold and colorful during the holidays and this design does just that. Winter Pop Tweed comes in the Ava Jacket, Del Mar Dress, and of course, a matching headband. The array of colors tweeded into these pieces are incredible which will allow the styling and accessorizing to be full of opportunities. I love the cute and preppy style this tweeded plaid print grants both of these pieces and cannot wait to incorporate them into my holiday wardrobe!
To keep things festive and holiday driven, we knew we needed to shoot these two pieces together, and of course, pop the champagne! Here we have the Poppy Dress in Green Sequin Cheetah and the Stella Dress in Cranberry. Both of these dresses were paired with some gold diamond accented jewelry for that extra pop of bling, and some gold heels to match. The design and material of these two dresses add a nice, fancy twist on your everyday Poppy and Stella styles, so much accessorizing isn’t needed. With these two being EMC’s most popular styles, we know they won’t last long, so get them while you can!
THIS. KITCHEN. was absolutely stunning and you guys know we love our pops of green! With the black and white tiling, green cabinetry, and unique lighting fixtures, it was so hard not to shoot every piece in this magical kitchen!!!
You know if there’s a new collection, there’s a new Emily McCarthy signature cheetah print to hit the floor. This one might be my favorite! (I know I’ve said that about everything, but look at it!) Here we have the Meghan Dress (right), and the Bella Dress (left). These two styles colliding with this print makes the biggest statement in my opinion. How could you not do a double take with this amazing colorway? I love an array of colors to work with because that just means there’s a sea of accessorizing opportunities! Although we kept it simple here with gold accessories, I would 100% throw in a colored heel or earring to keep the boldness.
As you can probably tell, this photoshoot, with its amazingly detailed and spunky setting, was SO much fun to shoot and style!!! Although I could go on and on about this collection and all the styling/pairing options it entails, I have to stop here in order to not spoil every look. We are super excited to share the rest with you tomorrow morning when we launch at 8 AM!
