Every girl needs a reliable staple piece that they can turn to each season that can be worn every which way for all sorts of occasions. Being able to pair back with a graphic tee and sneakers or with a blazer and heels for elegant wear, the Chloe Skirt is the perfect investment piece this spring season. With the beautiful pastel green hue, it invites spring with a pop of color and has the potential for so many different styling opportunities. Here are 3 ways to style this piece from casual to formal!
I love a graphic tee and sneaker situation, so this is definitely my go-to look for wanting to look put together but staying casual and comfortable. This tee is from one of my favorite graphic tee brands, Daydreamer and fun sneakers are of course, Oncept. I styled this with a fun beaded necklace (duh) and a terry cloth clutch and I couldn’t love it more. The key to this look is definitely the coordinating pastel hues from the light mint green to the yellow shoe laces, I just love how light and airy, yet edgy this look turned out to be. This is such a great outfit for a casual brunch, shopping day, or chill day in the office while still looking fab!
For a semi casual look I paired the skirt with the Celeste Top in Deco Palm because of the matching pastel green that really has its moment here, which I love! I paired these two with a raffia platform sandal and blue woven bucket bag, and of course a statement earring from Mercedes Salazar! This outfit has a coastal vibe with all the raffia going on making it the perfect vacation dinner look! I also love this pairing for a casual wedding, Easter Sunday, dinner date, you name it!
For a more formal occasion like cocktail parties, fine dining, work events, or any professional occasions in general, there are so many ways to dress up this elegant skirt to its fullest potential. I chose to take a more professional route and paired the skirt with the Bristol Blazer in Bon Bon. I love to pair these two together and roll up the sleeves of the blazer where the lining is that same mint green to coordinate really well together. I love a green and pink color pairing and these pastels make it extra special! Some gold jewelry, heels and a fun clutch really complete this look and add to that elegant style!
Not all staple pieces have to be basic and boring, so follow along for more ways to make your staple pieces your statement pieces and utilize them to their fullest potential!
