Founded 1870 — one of Franciacorta's oldest estates and the region's biodynamic/organic farming pioneer since the mid-90s. Animante is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Bianco sourced from 25 estate vineyards (200-300m elevation, ~20 yr old vines). Stainless steel fermented, then aged on lees in bottle 20-30 months before disgorgement.
