Cancellation policy
At Emily McCarthy, we work hard to process and ship orders quickly, which means cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible. If you need to cancel an order, please email us at orders@emilymccarthy.com with your name and order number. Orders may only be canceled before processing has begun. Once an order has entered processing—which may include order confirmation, pulling inventory, packaging, label creation, or vendor submission—we are unable to accommodate cancellation requests.
Please note that fabric, wallpaper, custom items, and special-order products cannot be canceled once processing begins, as these items are submitted immediately to production for fulfillment. Personalized items are final sale and are not eligible for cancellation at any stage once processing has started.
If your request is approved before processing has begun, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Please allow 3–5 business days for this to reflect, depending on your bank or card provider. For subscription products, cancellations must occur before the subscription charge processes; once billed, the upcoming shipment cannot be canceled.
